Career and Technical Education - Agriculture Education
teachers are identified as one of the top 10 critical shortage teacher areas in ÈâÂþÎÝ. The program at ÈâÂþÎÝ Tech is rooted in its land grant mission which includes a long history of excellence in agriculture studies, in teacher education, and in its nationally recognized faculty. Graduates experience a 100% job placement upon graduation and are ready to obtain licensure in career and technical education – agricultural education (Grades 6-12) in ÈâÂþÎÝ.
Agriculture education teachers instruct students about agriculture, food, and natural resources. Through these subjects, they teach students a wide variety of skills, including science, mathematics, communications, leadership, management, and technology.
